Reboot Kerala Hackathon 2020 aims to provide students of Higher Education Institutions a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. Reboot Kerala Hackathon 2020 aims to bring students to the mainstream governance by receiving their solutions for the issues faced by various Government departments. This helps in finding quick and effective solutions for the development of the state in a cost-cutting manner.10 Regional hackathons were conducted for solving problems related to different government departments across Kerala. Top three teams from each regional hackathon will be competing in the Reboot Kerala Hackathon 2020 Grand Finale was conducted from December 18th to 20th.

They developed an intelligent solution to monitor various parameters that affects the cultivation of crops.
The important features of the solution includes:Team Blitzkrieg from Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology were the 1st Runner Up of Reboot Kerala hackathon 2020 Grand Finale. They developed a solution based on a problem statement on the theme Home Affairs. They developed a smart Patrolling Or Virtual patrolling System (IoT, AI powered camera/ Computer Vision).
The important features of the solution includes:Team Prometheans from College of Engineering, Trivandrum were the 2nd Runner Up of Reboot Kerala hackathon 2020 Grand Finale. They developed a solution based on a problem statement on the theme Food. They developed a system to aid the preparation of personalized essential article kits for the Ration Shops/Supplyco/Neeti customers in the State based on the consumption data of the food articles and medicine. The system predicts how much quantity of each item is required to be prepared in each Taluk and how many need to be dispatched to each shop.

They developed a solution based on a problem statement on the theme Education. They developed a system to improve the online training platform with considerations on better interactivity,monitorability and gauge their level of understanding during the class. The solution also considered the scope of improving the online examination system.
