Industry Highlights:
The electronics market in India is one of the largest in the world and is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 24.4% between 2012 and 2020. The increased focus of the Government for the development of electronics sector was well demonstrated with the introduction of National Policy on Electronics (NPE) in 2012. One of the important objectives of the NPE is to achieve a turnover of about Rs 27 lakh crores by 2020 involving investment of about Rs 6 lakh crores and employment to around 2.8 crore by 2020. All of these efforts indicate a rise in demand for job roles such as Field Technicians (Networking and Storage).

Course Highlights:
The course shall equip the successful trainees with the requisite skills and knowledge to install and configure networking, servers and storage systems. On successful completion, the trainee shall become proficient in the various tasks of installing new purchased products, configuring hardware equipment  trouble shooting, repairing and  fixing the equipment.

Internship:
150 hours of internship with leading electronic companies

Assessment and Certification:

Continuous assessment is carried out by the Training Service Provider and final assessment by an independent assessor, assigned by the Sector Skill Council. Certificate will be issued by Government of Kerala and the Sector Skill Council, to successful trainees.

Eligibility:

·         Students enrolled in 1st year of Bachelor’s Degree course in any stream

Students who have successfully completed ‘Aptitude Test’ and ‘Personal Interview’.
