Industry Highlights:
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly form a core part of our electronic manufacturing industry. This capability can be utilized at all levels from the initial production of very low volume, rapid prototype products to the manufacturing of complex, multi-technology PCB assemblies. Currently, almost all electronic products are manufactured using pick and place machine for placing components on the PCB, thus, suggesting a huge employment potential in the sector.

Course Highlights:
This course shall equip the successful trainees with requisite skills and knowledge to program and operate the automated pick and place machine for assembling components on the PCB. On successful completion, the trainee shall become proficient in programming, operating, maintaining and loading the automated pick and place machine

Internship:
150 hours of internship with leading electronic companies

Assessment and Certification:

Continuous assessment is carried out by the Training Service Provider and final assessment by an independent assessor, assigned by the Sector Skill Council. Certificate will be issued by Government of Kerala and the Sector Skill Council, to successful trainees.

Eligibility:

·         Students enrolled in 1st year of Bachelor’s Degree course in any stream;

Students who have successfully completed ‘Aptitude Test’ and ‘Personal Interview’.
