Workforce demand within the hospitality sector in India is projected at: 28 lakhs for restaurants, 41 lakhs for hotels, 3 lakhs for the travel trade segment, and 27 lakhs for the tourism sector, by the year 2022. Procurement service within the hospitality industry is a key function to ensure readiness and responsiveness to the diverse consumer demands. The industry’s demand for qualified, well-informed and smart procurement specialists are ever growing, as it impacts the bottom line.
The course shall equip the successful trainees with requisite knowledge and skills to efficiently undertake procurement processes. On completion of the course, the successful trainees shall be proficient withgathering information from technical and operational departments, identifying the most appropriate supplier, negotiating competitive prices, issuing purchase order and ensuring that optimum inventory is maintained.

150 hours of Internship with leading hotels and restaurants in the hospitality industry as well as procurement units of local, national and international corporations
Assessment and Certification:
Continuous assessment is carried out by the Training Service Provider and final assessment by an independent assessor, assigned by the Sector Skill Council. Certificate will be issued by Government of Kerala and the Sector Skill Council, to successful trainees.
Students enrolled in 1st year of Bachelor’s Degree course in any stream;
