Warehouse Supervisor (QP: LSC/Q2307)
Warehousing forms a crucial link in the over-all logistics value chain. India’s warehousing requirement is expected to grow at an annual average rate of 9% to 143.9 crore sq. ft in 2019 from 91.9 crore sq. ft in 2014. The additional investment expected in warehousing is about Rs. 15,000-16,000 Crore every year. Government of India’s renewed focus on incentivizing the manufacturing sector plays a vital role in the growth of warehousing and thus the increased employment prospects.
The course shall equip the successful trainees with the requisite knowledge and skills to be the over-all in-charge of the warehouse and ensure smooth functioning of all warehouse activities. On successful completion of the course, the trainees shall be proficient with obtaining bills of material and inventory tracking sheet, mutually agreeing on priorities and deadlines related to customer orders, estimating the time required and planning the schedule of the day, allocating work to subordinates, ensuring successful completion of the tasks assigned to the subordinates and solving all operational issues in warehouse activities

Assessment and Certification:
Continuous assessment is carried out by the Training Service Provider and final assessment by an independent assessor, assigned by the Sector Skill Council. Certificate will be issued by Government of Kerala and the Sector Skill Council, to successful trainees.
· Students enrolled in 1st year of Bachelor’s Degree course in any stream;
· Students who have successfully completed ‘Aptitude Test’ and ‘Personal Interview
