ASAP honours the heroes

ASAP in association with the staff of ADB  honoured the heroes from the fishermen community of Trivandrum , who played a pivotal role in the rescue operations in the recent floods , at St.Xavier’s College, Thumba, Trivandrum. Bicycles were gifted to 12 children from selected families. The Chief Executive Officer of ASAP, Smt. Reetha S Prabha formally inaugurated the event and handed over the bicycles to students to the thundering applause of the audience. Of these 12 students, four are the students of St. Xavier’s college and one from St.Mary’s Pattom , who is an Asapian. The Principal of St. Xavier’s College, Rev. Fr. Dasapan, ASAP coordinator Shri. Justus Joseph, Shri. Loyola, who coordinated the rescue activities, Prof. Prakasam R, Head-Quality and Research-ASAP,Shri. K P Jaikiran-Head-Curriculum development, Shri. M K Vivekanandan Nair, Head-Communication, Smt. Suseela James, Head-Business Development, Shri. Anilkumar T.V , Head-Training-ASAP,were the dignitaries on the dias along with the recipients.

The CEO,ASAP honoured Shri.Loyola for his efforts in coordinating the rescue operations done by the fishing boats from Trivandrum and Shri. Justus Joseph for coordinating this event at the college.

The District Programme Manager of ASAP, Shri.Pradeep George and other PMs ,Shri. Raja M, Shri. Bimal V V, Shri. Ajin Shah and Smt.Anjali K S.,played  key roles in contacting the rescue workers across the coastal regions of Trivandrum and selecting the most deserving candidates.
