ASAP conducted a Business Advisory Committee Meeting for Finance Sector ( BFSI) on June 27th at Thiuvananthapuram.The meeting intended to improve Industry participation in skill training and to discuss challenges in providing internship and placement support for students. New opportunities and changing banking scenario has created huge opportunity for students who are aspiring a career in banking sector. New courses based on the industry demands and that matches with expectations of students was also one of the key discussion point. Mr Satish Menon , Executive Director , Geojit Finance Services Ltd, chaired the meeting. Mr Ambarish Dutta, Director BFSI Sector Skill Council, Mr. Ranjit Karthikeyan -Charted Accountant, Partner, Ranjit Karthikeyan Associates, Dr. P. S. Devakumar- Assistant Professor of Commerce, Govt College for Women, Thiruvanathapuram, Mr. S. Rajendran Nair- Additional Secretary, Additional Skill Acquisition Programme, Mr. P. Anil Prasad - Head -Lifelong Learning, Trainers Training Academy & BFSI Sector, Additional Skill Acquisition Programme, Dr Siju Eappen , SPM Community Skill Park and Mr Nishanth Narayan Sector in charge Programme Manager participated in the meeting. 

Puppet Show by ASAP students

  In connection with ‘The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’, an awareness programme was observed at GHSS Kunjimangalam, Kallaseri Constituency, Kannur on 27th June 2017.

A puppet show was organized by ASAP students in coordination with Kerala Governments Anti drug awareness  programme ‘Vimukthi’.  The puppet show focussed on dramatizing the ill effects of drug abuse and created an awareness against illicit trafficking of drugs..

The programme was inaugurated by Hon Revenue Minister Shri E Chandrasekharan and was chaired by Hon. MLA Shri TV Rajesh.

ASAP signs MoU with TMI E2E, 4tune factory and Times center for learning to provide soft skill training for ASAP stakeholders.


DHSE-RDD Meeting at ASAP Headquarters

Meeting of Regional Deputy Directors of Higher Secondary Department has conducted at ASAP HeadQuarters on July 5th. The Meeting was chaired by Dr. Reju MT CEO ASAP and DHSE Director Dr. Prakashan delivered the keynote address. The meeting was to encourage more institutions to join hands with ASAP  and to ensure implementation of ASAP program in maximum Govt. & Aided Higher Secondary Schools. The meeting also enlightened RDDs on the working of ASAP. This also gave an opportunity for District Programme Mangers of ASAP to discuss some critical challenges they face at field level implementation of the program
