Demand, Operate and Train (DOT) Scheme – Guidelines

This model of Summer Skill School intends to encourage Schools and Colleges to take up Skill Development programme for the deserving students of the institution or surrounding institutions and thereby participating in the skill Development endeavors of the locality.

The Schools and Colleges will be encouraged to take up Skill Development Programme from ASAP Skill bouquet and implement the same during summer vacation at their own Institutions. The institution shall be free to enroll students based on the ASAP guidelines.

ASAP will engage Training Service Providers for training students on the chosen skill and will provide a consolidated amount of Administrative and Management Expenses for the institution. Quality Assurers of ASAP will ensure the quality of the training delivery whereas ASAP Programme Managers will take care the monitoring of Scheme. ASAP may facilitate Placement for successful candidates as a part of placement drives.


ASAP invites application from Govt. /Aided HSS/VHSE Schools and Colleges, as Managing Partner Institutions under DOT Scheme for SSS 2018.

·        The SSS 2018 programme is offered to all interested populace of age group 15-25 years as on 01.01.2018.

·        Applicants who completed their course of study from Government / Aided / Private VHSE, THSE, HSS, and Colleges / ITI in the State of Kerala and looking for a Job can apply.

Institutions can choose from a bouquet of ASAP courses by applying in the link- DOT Application. The institution can log in to this link which is available on ASAP website.

*      The Institution head should fill in the online application form and click the DOT Application 2018 button.

*      The application form will be generated. Details of the institution have to be filled in.

*      Details of Institution head has to be filled in.

*      Under details of the selected programme – select” click here” to view details of skill courses offered. An institution can opt only courses offered in the respective District.

*      You can choose a maximum of three courses, depending on the number of course chosen, details of courses can be added. The institution should be able to provide the facility as mentioned in specific requirements apart from the Class room, LCD Projector, Whiteboard etc. Courses should be carefully selected based on the profile of prospective students. Courses restricted to HSS / VHSS or Colleges shall be offered to those groups only. Eg. A College course may not be offered to HSS / VHSS student and vice versa.

*      On completion of all data –click “Apply Now” (APPLICATION CLOSED FOR 2018 ACADEMIC YEAR)

*      Of the three options selected, one course will be allotted to the best of our efforts to the institution if all conditions are satisfied. Once course allotment is completed, the same will be intimated by the institution through the mail from ASAP. The institution can proceed with student selection (Final Year Plus two/ VHSE or Final year Degree students).

ASAP will organize an audit of the facilities offered for the skill training in comparison to the skill course selected and shall proceed on the basis of that. The Administrative/operational assistance to the institution will be limited to a maximum of Rs 20000/- to be given in 2 installments.
