DOMESTIC DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

Industry Highlights:
India is the world's largest sourcing destination for the information technology (IT) industry, and employs about 1 Crore Indians and continues to contribute significantly to the social and economic transformation in the country. The Business Processing Management (BPM) sector within IT/ITeS industry, grew at a rate of 25% between 2000 and 2013 (over 3-4 times higher than the global IT-BPM spend), and is estimated to expand at a rate of 9.5% to reach Rs. 19,200 Crores by 2020. The roles and responsibilities of Data Entry Operator are crucial for every business as part of its back office operations, irrespective of its nature and size. The functional expertise associated with the job is applicable across sectors and areas of operations.

 Course Highlights:

The course shall equip the successful trainees with the requisite knowledge and skills to undertake electronic entry of data. On successful completion of the course, the trainee shall be proficient with data encoding by fast and accurate typing, storing and retrieving data using appropriate software.

150 hours of internship with local, national and international corporations

 Assessment and Certification:

Continuous assessment is carried out by the Training Service Provider and final assessment by an independent assessor, assigned by the Sector Skill Council. Certificate will be issued by Government of Kerala and the Sector Skill Council, to successful trainees.

 Eligibility:

·         Students enrolled in Plus One in any stream;

 

·         Students who have successfully completed 'Aptitude Test' and ‘Personal Interview’
