The Institutions are entrusted to enroll students based on the ASAP guidelines and ASAP engages Training Service Providers for the chosen programme, also providing a consolidated amount for administrative and management expenses. Quality assurers and ASAP Programme Managers monitor the scheme. ASAP, furthermore, implements a placement drive for successful candidates.
Design, Operate, Assess and Place (DOAP) Scheme
Private Training Service Providers (TSP) recommended by the Sector Skill Councils implement the programme by designing an industry relevant programme according to National Occupation Standards. Skill training is offered through temporary training centres arranged by the TSP as per ASAP specifications. Assessment is carried out through Sector Skill Council approved agency and placement offers are provided to the students on successful completion. The scheme will be monitored by Quality Assurers and ASAP Programme Managers.

This is also aimed at transforming the technical teachers of these institutions into master trainers, thereby creating an industry trained resource pool in the state of Kerala. Selected institutions can pinpoint suitable areas of their strength and design detailed curriculum after active industry consultation through a participatory approach. Workshops are organized with the support of Sector Skill Councils for aligning the training material with the National Occupation Standards. ASAP engages the empanelled quality assurers and ASAP Programme Managers to support trainers during course delivery.
