NOTIFICATION FOR THE POST OF EXECUTIVES(CSP)

Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala , A Government of Kerala Company, invites online applications for the positions of Executives to Community Skill Parks (CSPs) across the state. Interested candidates may apply via ONLINE mode only by filling the prescribed application form available on the ASAP website (www.asapkerala.gov.in/careers/).

The selection process involves two stages:

  1. Written Test (Descriptive)
  2. Interview for final selection

Selected applicants will be posted in the below-mentioned vacancies based on their suitability. Selected applicants will be required to execute an agreement with ASAP.

About ASAP Kerala & CSPs:

ASAP Kerala is a Section 8 company under the Higher Education Department of the Government of Kerala, offering skill training on 150+ courses both offline and online. The offline training activities are conducted through 16 Community Skill Parks (CSPs) across the state. This notification is for the recruitment of Graduate Interns & Executives for the job roles specified below.

Details of Vacancy

Job Role of Executive:

Administrative Responsibilities: Act as in-charge of the CSP and achieve financial self- sustainability. Supervise the activities of the interns/apprentices to achieve the targets of the CSPs. Attend various meetings, events in the districts as a representative of ASAP. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the CSP infrastructure. Maintain the database and various registers. Timely update the MIS. Prepare the monthly revenue- expenditure-income statement, occupancy and footfall, activity reports etc. Discharge the assigned financial responsibilities strictly adhering to the ASAP guidelines. Attend monthly review meetings at Ernakulam or Thiruvananthapuram (or any other places as decided).

Skill Training Activities: Primary activities in the CSPs are skill training and the Executive is responsible for promoting and creating awareness of ASAP Kerala and CSP operations in the CSP influence zone and in the district. Carry out the marketing and promotional activities leading to batch formation of various skill courses. Organize and manage the training and non-training activities in the CSP. Support the activities of the industry partner in the CSP. Collect feedback from CSP participants and address  the issues of concern.

Workshops / Events: CSPs are aiming to become the Youth Hangout Place which demands conducting workshops and events other than Skill Training. The activities of interest to the Youth include placement drives, foreign language proficiency/public speaking practices, youth competitions, career guidance seminars, activity camps etc. In addition to these activities, community engagement activities are also  planned  to improve the occupancy and footfall in the CSP and thereby promote the CSP activities to larger audiences. The job role of the executives includes conceptualizing, mobilizing and managing all these activities in the CSPs.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Type of Employment: Contract for a maximum of 2 years, with quarterly performance reviews.
  • Eligibility: Graduation with three years of work experience, or Post-Graduation / MBA (Marketing preferred) with two years of experience, or Postgraduates with one year of ASAP Kerala service.
  • Age Limit: Maximum age is 40 years.
  • Salary: Fixed monthly salary of Rs 25,350/- inclusive of all allowances. Performance-based incentives may be considered as per company policy.

  • Present vacancies are existing at CSPs (1 each) Palayad (Kannur), Pandikkad (Malappuram), Thavanur (Malappuram), Chathannur (Palakkad), Lakkidi (Palakkad), Perumbavoor (Ernakulam), Kalavoor (Alappuzha), Pampady (Kottayam), Mananthavady (Wayanad).
  • Meritorious candidates will be shortlisted for existing and future/anticipated vacancies over the next 6 months in other CSPs of ASAP Kerala.

Brief about CSPs:

CSP SBU represents the youth engagement business unit of ASAP Kerala. Each CSP has a 25,000-30,000 sq ft building infrastructure with 5 classrooms and 4 lab spaces aimed at employability enhancement and career advancement activities. The CSP SBU focuses on individuals aged 13 to 40 years and aims to create a Youth Hangout through community engagement programs and activities. The annual target is to achieve 1 lakh memberships across all CSPs. CSP activities are planned for all 7 days of the week, with compensatory off for working on holidays. CSP operations run from 8 AM to 8 PM with provision for shift operations.
