Course Overview
The course has been introduced in consultation with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. CAT equips students to become well-versed with the maintenance of accounts, preparation of tax returns, filing of returns under the Companies Act, filing of returns under the Income Tax Act, GST, Customs Act, Export & Import documentation etc. The course is aligned with the Qualification Pack BSC/Q8101 - Accounts Executive of BFSI Sector Skill Council (BFSISSC).
CAT is offered in collaboration with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, which is a statutory body established under an Act of Parliament with over seven decades of expertise in the field of Cost and Management Accounting.

The internship will be for 45 days at organisations prescribed under the internship scheme of the CAT course.
- Online training sessions
- Final assessment to be conducted offline at prescribed centres
- The course will be offered in all the locations identified by ASAP Kerala (provided a minimum of 30 students opt for the same in each of the locations).
- Classes will be organised after regular schools/ college hours, or during weekends
- IT-based self-assessment and study module has been developed.
- Students can access the module online at any time
- A chapter-wise question bank is hosted in the module, and students can view their scores at the end of the session.
- Students can access the latest updates about the subjects and other CAT-related events through the dashboard.
