Course Overview
The Certificate Programme in EV Design and Simulation and Component Selection is designed for those interested in creating electric vehicles. It covers topics such as the impact of electric vehicles on the market, how to design the electric motor, calculating the powertrain, selecting the right components for the vehicle, understanding the charging system for the battery pack, and simulating the performance of the vehicle. Students gain a deep understanding of EV components, safety protocols, and performance optimization, preparing them for careers in the rapidly expanding electric vehicle industry. This course equips learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge EV technologies.
The Certificate Programme in EV Design and Simulation and Component Selection offered by ASAP Kerala is a blended course that includes 85 hours of recorded sessions, 30 hours of offline classes, 24 hours of live online mentorship and assessments, projects, and a placement preparation module. The offline sessions will be conducted at the EV Centre of Excellence established and maintained at the ASAP Kerala Community Skill Parks in Kunnamthanam and Thavanur.
Upon successful completion of the course, the candidates will get placement assistance or an internship with a stipend.

The course has 85 recorded sessions. Live online sessions (24 hours) will be scheduled during the weekends. Offline hands-on training (30 hours) will be provided at the Centre of Excellence in EV Technology established in ASAP Community Skill Parks in Kunnamthanam and Thavanur. Placement preparation modules, assessments and projects also will be covered as part of the course.
The offline sessions will be planned after consultation with the trainees for each batch in one of the Centres of Excellence in EV established at ASAP Community Skill Parks in Kunnamthanam and Thavanur.
Across India. The candidates have to be ready to relocate based on the requirements.
The recorded sessions of the course are self-paced. Online live sessions on weekends, offline training, and placement modules have to be attended on time.
