Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician specialises in operation & maintenance of the Industrial and Housing Societies Wastewater Treatment Plant. Training for this job role is required under the purview of Government regulation by Pollution Control Boards to minimise wastewater pollution going to rivers. This may be regulated through skilled workforce at Common Effluent Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment Plants and other wastewater treatment units at Industries and in municipalities, housing societies and more. The course aims to create a trained pool of technicians to install, operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants.
