Additional Skill Acquisition Programme Kerala signed an MoU with AkzoNobel India for setting up a vehicle refinishing paint academy at Community Skill Park, Thavanur, Malappuram. ASAP Kerala and AkzoNobel India will work together to train 180 youth in its initial year of association. The paint academy will be part of the e CSR initiatives of AkzoNobel India.
MoU was signed by Dr Usha Titus, CMD ASAP Kerala and Harshi Rastogi, Company Secretary AkzoNobel India in the presence of Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Kerala, Shri Marten van den Berg, the Dutch Ambassador to India, Dr. R Bindu, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Kerala, Shri V Shivankutty, Hon’ble Minister Labour and Skills, Kerala, Shri VP Joy IAS, Chief Secretary to Govt of Kerala and Shri Venu Rajamony, Officer on Special Duty, Govt of Kerala and other dignitaries.
