Course Overview
Japanese Foreign Language offered by Alumni Society of AOTS (ASATC) is a Level N5 course where a candidate with 15 years and above can enroll for the course. The course is specially developed for beginners. The learner can learn Hiragana, Katakana, around 100 Kanji (Chinese characters), their readings and pronunciations, and approximately 400-500 Japanese words and the basic rudiments of Japanese Grammar.
The basic fundamentals of spoken Japanese through our customized grammar textbook and and carefully-selected online resources, which makes comprehension an easy and interactive process. The Beginner course focuses on basic Japanese skills through the aid of reading, writing, speaking, and listening tools. Our unique teaching philosophy assists students with an easier and exciting way to learn essential Japanese they can build a strong base which helps them practice everything they learn. One is able to understand familiar expressions and phrases. If spoken slowly, one can follow simple conversations.

Saturday & Sunday: 10AM- 12 PM, 4 PM- 6 PM , 6PM- 8PM(Open Batch)
Tuesday & Thursday: 6PM-8 PM(Open Batch)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6PM-8 PM( For Norka Batch)

I have applied for ASAP Japanese course last year Sept ’20. Honestly didn’t know what to expect considering Japanese was a difficult language to learn. Really glad to have Peter sir as the course instructor because Sir was really patient and committed to the whole program. We had weekly writing and reading assignments, and the books that were used was interesting to learn. Even though initially it seemed like a surreal task to learn Kanji, Sir has made it easier to learn. I had enjoyed the sessions and thank Sir and ASAP for this opportunity to learn a new language.
