CSP Lakkidi
Overview
ASAP Community Skill Park Lakkidi is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to skill development and training located in the Kinfra Defense park, Lakkidi of Palakkad district. ASAP Community Skill Park Lakkidi aims to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the skills of the youth. ASAP aims to provide world-class skill development training to students, job seekers, and professionals to enable them to excel in their careers.
The CSP is equipped with fully-facilitated machine shops and precision labs with requisite power, water and LPG supply points. With a total built-up area of 2316.75 sqm and accessible-to-all facilities, the skill park has a 125 KVA DG set, IT networking facilities, 200 KVA transformer and fire fighting system. Apart from contemporary courses, internships are also offered to diploma holders and Btech graduates.
Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET)
ASAP has partnered with Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) as the operating partner of CSP Lakkidi. CIPET is one of the premier institutions in India that offers courses in the field of plastics engineering and technology. The courses are designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to excel in the field of plastics engineering and technology.
Various short term and long term programs which are employment oriented are by CIPET at CSP Lakkidi. A number of trainees who have been trained at CSP Lakkidi have got employment opportunities in different companies including overseas.
