Course Overview
The course offers practical as well as theoretical knowledge related to maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of an establishment for which individuals work. After the completion of the course, an aspirant can work at hotels, resorts, travel and tour agencies, etc. Candidates are eligible to pursue this course after completing 10+2 from a recognized board with passing marks. The skills imparted keep pace with the requirement of the industry and broaden the knowledge to produce quality manpower.

Choosing a location appropriate for divers to assemble equipment.
Preparing emergency equipment, such as a first aid kit and oxygen unit.
Greeting divers as they arrive at the site/boat and providing direction
Survey an open water dive site and create a detailed map of the site showing (as applicable to the site) underwater relief, important points of interest environmental notes.

The biggest difference between a divemaster and a scuba instructor is that the former is considered a ‘dive leader’, and as such, can only assist in the teaching of scuba courses under a certified instructor, whereas, an instructor is qualified to teach alone.
