Job Title : Academic Counsellor

Salary : 17,500/- (Rs 15000/- with an additional allowance of Rs 2500/-/Incentives shall be provided based on performance)

Job Summary:

The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with prospective students and guiding them through the admission process. The role involves managing leads, providing detailed information about ASAP Kerala’s courses, and ensuring a smooth and supportive admission experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Attend inbound calls to the ASAP call center, particularly for inquiries related to various courses and programs. Conduct outbound calls to potential customers using provided leads and databases.
  • Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students about course offerings, admission requirements, and career outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Admissions Support: Assist students in completing application forms, preparing necessary documentation, and understanding the admissions timeline.
  • Follow-Up Communication: Maintain regular communication with prospective students via phone, email, and other channels to nurture leads and ensure a high conversion rate.
  • Target Achievement: Meet weekly and monthly call targets and revenue targets as set by the reporting officer.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the reporting officer on call outcomes and lead quality.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Tele calling, customer service, or academic counseling.
  • Skills Required: Excellent command over English and Malayalam./Proficiency in using MS Office.

The initial contract will be for a period of 2 months, with the possibility of extension for one year based on satisfactory performance.

Job Title : Tele Calling Intern (Internship)

Qualification : Any Degree

Stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month and an additional allowance of Rs 2500/- per month towards data, connectivity and travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend inbound calls to ASAP call centre, especially on enquiries relating to various courses and other programmes.
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads and databases.
  • Introduce and explain our products/services to potential customers, highlighting their benefits and features.
  • Engage in effective communication to understand customer needs and tailor the pitch accordingly.
  • Answer any questions or concerns that the potential customers might have about our services.
  • Collect and document relevant information, such as contact details, preferences, and enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of call interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Meet weekly and monthly call targets and goals as set by the supervisor.
  • Provide regular updates to the team on call outcomes, lead quality, and customer feedback.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and communication skills.
  • Continuously strive to improve call quality, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer objections professionally and work towards resolving concerns.
  • Assist in other sales and marketing activities as assigned.

Skills Required :

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Malayalam and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to handle rejection and objections gracefully while maintaining professionalism.
  • Familiarity with using CRM systems or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in common computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Previous tele-calling or customer service experience is a preferred, but not mandatory.
