Japanese Language – N4
Course Overview
The course trains learners in Japanese vocabulary, expressions and grammar that correspond to the JLPT N-4 level. It is applied in actual conversations, so the course aids in JLPT preparation and in advancing Japanese communication proficiency. Offered by the Alumni Society of AOTS (ASATC), it is a Level N-4 course where a candidate with N-5 certification can enroll. All the narrations have English subtitles for the convenience of students. In addition, for those countries unfamiliar with kanji, hiragana characters are added above kanji so that learners can study effectively.

I enrolled for the Japanese course in September ’20. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect, considering Japanese is a difficult language to learn. I’m really glad to have Peter sir as the course instructor because he was patient and committed throughout the programme. We had weekly writing and reading assignments, and the books that were used were interesting. Initially, it seemed like a surreal task to learn Kanji, sir made it easy.
