About ASAP Kerala & CSPs:
ASAP Kerala is a Section 8 company under the Higher Education Department of the Government of Kerala, offering skill training on 150+ courses both offline and online. The offline training activities are conducted through 16 Community Skill Parks (CSPs) across the state. This notification is for the recruitment of Graduate Interns & Executives for the job roles specified below.
Details of Vacancy
1. Executive
Job Role:
The Executive will be responsible for acting as the in-charge of the CSP, achieving financial self-sustainability, and supervising the activities of interns and apprentices to meet CSP targets. They will represent ASAP in various district meetings and events and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of CSP infrastructure, including databases and registers. Executives are also required to prepare monthly reports covering revenue, expenditure, income, occupancy, footfall, and other activity metrics, and attend monthly review meetings as assigned.
They will promote ASAP Kerala and CSP activities within the CSP influence zone, organize training and non-training programs, and collaborate with industry partners. Additionally, they will gather and address feedback from CSP participants and conceptualize, mobilize, and manage youth engagement activities such as workshops, competitions, and career guidance seminars to enhance CSP activities.
Terms and Conditions:
- Type of Employment: Contract for a maximum of 2 years, with quarterly performance reviews.
- Eligibility:
- Graduation with 3 years of work experience, OR
- Post-Graduation with 2 years of experience/1 year in ASAP Kerala, OR
- MBA Graduates with 1 year of experience.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
- Salary: Fixed monthly salary of ₹25,350/- (inclusive of all allowances). Performance-based incentives may apply.
2. Graduate Intern
Job Role:
Graduate Interns will assist Junior Executives/Executives in CSP operations and carry out course mobilization activities to ensure admissions to various skill courses. They will organize and manage training and non-training activities, support industry partner operations in the CSP, and collect and address feedback from CSP participants.
Interns will promote non-skill training activities in CSPs, make arrangements for successful completion of events and workshops, act as course advisors to visitors, and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the CSP. They will also participate in various district-level meetings as assigned.
Terms and Conditions:
- Type of Employment: Contract for a maximum of 1 year, with quarterly performance reviews.
- Eligibility: Any Graduate (preference to PG/MBA candidates).
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
- Salary: Fixed monthly salary of ₹12,500/- (inclusive of all allowances). Performance-based incentives may apply.
Brief about CSPs:
CSP SBU represents the youth engagement business unit of ASAP Kerala. Each CSP has a 25,000-30,000 sq ft building infrastructure with 5 classrooms and 4 lab spaces aimed at employability enhancement and career advancement activities. The CSP SBU focuses on individuals aged 13 to 40 years and aims to create a Youth Hangout through community engagement programs and activities. The annual target is to achieve 1 lakh memberships across all CSPs. CSP activities are planned for all 7 days of the week, with compensatory off for working on holidays. CSP operations run from 8 AM to 8 PM with provision for flexible shift operations.
