Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala, a Section 8 Company under the Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala, invites online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for the position of Junior Executive under the K-REAP (Kerala Resources for Education Administration and Planning) Project.

The K-REAP Project is an e-Governance initiative of the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) aimed at establishing an integrated digital platform for university administration across Kerala. ASAP Kerala has been entrusted with the implementation of this prestigious project.

Monthly Consolidated Remuneration: ₹17,500/-

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract Basis (one year)

Location: Kannur, Tirur (Malappuram), Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram

Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline from a recognized University.

Experience

Minimum one (1) year of relevant professional experience in related field.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Sound understanding of IT systems and software lifecycle management.
  • Strong organizational, coordination and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating and executing project activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between various stakeholders and ASAP Kerala to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical support related to project implementation.
  • Monitor project progress, update schedules and maintain project documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and record Minutes of Meetings (MoM).
  • Compile, prepare and circulate project reports to stakeholders.
  • Track timelines and follow up with team members to ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Maintain project-related documents, contracts and other official records.
  • Facilitate training programmes and provide support to end-users across various institutions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer in connection with the project.

General Instructions

  1. Candidates securing not less than 60% marks in the qualifying bachelor’s degree examination are eligible to apply.
  2. The selected candidates should be willing to travel across the State of Kerala, if required for project implementation.
  3. The selection process shall consist of Written Test and Personal Interview, or Personal Interview alone, to be conducted in offline mode. The selection methodology will be decided by ASAP Kerala based on organizational requirements, and eligible candidates will be informed accordingly.
  4. Admission to all stages of the recruitment process shall be purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility criteria. Mere admission to the written test/interview shall not confer any right for appointment.
  5. Applications will be subjected to detailed scrutiny before the conduct of the written test/interview. If any discrepancy, suppression of facts or ineligibility is detected at any stage, the candidature shall be rejected without further notice.
  6. ASAP Kerala reserves the right to shortlist only a limited number of candidates based on one or more of the following criteria:
  • Marks obtained in the qualifying examination;
  • Relevant work experience;
  • Desirable qualifications;
  • Project requirements;
  • Location preference and administrative considerations.

7.Candidates must clearly indicate the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying bachelor’s degree examination in the online application.

8.Any location preference indicated by the candidate shall be treated only as a preference and shall not confer any right to be posted at the preferred location. The final place of posting shall be decided solely by ASAP Kerala based on vacancy position, project requirements and administrative convenience.

9.Canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification.

10.If any information furnished by the candidate is found to be false, incorrect or misleading at any stage of the recruitment process or after appointment, the candidature/appointment shall be liable to be cancelled or terminated without prior notice.

11.ASAP Kerala reserves the absolute right to modify, cancel, postpone or withdraw the recruitment process, either wholly or partially, and also reserves the right not to fill any or all of the notified vacancies without assigning any reason whatsoever. The decision of ASAP Kerala in all matters relating to this recruitment shall be final and binding.
