- Team Size: 10+ Academic Counselors
- Location: ASAP HQ, Trivandrum
- Job Type : Full Time(Contract)
- Salary :Rs.30,000/- + performance based variable pay
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience - minimum five years with at least two years in supervisory role.
- Experience in EdTech, training, or skill development industry is a plus.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Team Manager to lead a team of academic counselors responsible for selling skill development and training courses. The role requires strong people management, sales planning, and performance monitoring skills to ensure revenue targets are met consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Academic Counselors (telecallers) to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly reviews, and monthly performance evaluations.
- Provide regular training, coaching, and feedback to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
2. Sales Operations
- Plan and execute daily/weekly call strategies and conversion targets.
- Monitor call quality, lead handling, and customer interactions.
- Ensure telecallers follow the sales script, pitch effectively, and maintain professionalism.
3. Performance & Reporting
- Track KPIs such as call volumes, conversions, revenue, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate sales records and share reports with management.
- Identify gaps in performance and take corrective actions proactively.
4. Process Improvement
- Optimize lead allocation, follow-up mechanisms, and CRM usage.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing & PR division for better lead generation and campaign strategies.
- Suggest improvements in sales scripts, offers, and product positioning.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in telesales/inside sales (preferably in education, training, or EdTech).
- Ability to analyze data, set realistic targets, and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and MS Office.
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam communication.
