Overview

The CSP is a 25,000-sq feet building with fully-furnished classrooms and a 9-kV solar on-grid for training. State of the art advanced electrician lab with advanced home automation equipments. 

Located in the scenic town of Mananthavady in Wayanad district, our skill park provides a platform for young people to learn new skills and enhance their employability. TATA Power Community Development Trust has been appointed the Operating Partner of CSP Mananthavady.

 Our programs are designed to be hands-on and practical, giving our students the necessary real-world experience to excel in their chosen field. Our experienced trainers provide mentorship and guidance to our students, helping them reach their full potential. Our courses are designed to meet industry standards, ensuring that our students are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.

At ASAP Community Skill Park Mananthavady, we also prioritize sustainability and eco-friendliness. Our facility features rainwater harvesting, solar power generation, and waste management systems, reflecting our commitment to creating a greener future.

Under PMKVY 4.0 Skill Hub Initiative, CSP Mananthavady has completed 4 batches that include 2 batches of the Associate Data Entry Operator course, 1 batch of Front Office Assistant course and 1 batch of the Fitness Trainer course. Another batch of Fitness Trainer is ongoing, while the Emergency Medical Technician (Basic) course is yet to start.

Non Skill Activities

1.      Skill Sabha Inauguration- Block Level : A first of its kind initiative in Kerala that focuses on skill development from the ground level, the inauguration of the Skill Sabha was held at CSP Mananthavady on 22^nd August, 2023.

2.      Chat with the Sub Collector

As part of the Block Skill Sabha, 75 students from various educational institutions had the opportunity to interact with the Honorable Sub Collector Ms. Sreelakshmi R (IAS).

3.      Mental Health Awareness Campaign

As part of World Mental Health Day, ASAP Community Skill Park Mananthavady, in association with District Medical Office, Mananthavady, and Sub Collector Office initiated the campaign on Mental Health Awareness. The inaugural ceremony was held at Government College Mananthavady on 11^th October, 2023. As a continuation of the campaign, another session was conducted for the students of PKKM College of Applied Science.

4.     Haritha Sabha for childrenWith the aim of ‘Malinya Muktha Navakeralam’, Edavaka Grama Panchayath, in association with ASAP Community Skill Park Mananthavady, conducted Haritha Sabha for the students of schools in Edavaka Grama Panchayath on 14^th November, 2023. Around 200 students from 14 schools participated in the programme.

Short term Trainings

1.      Work Readiness Programme

ASAP Kerala, in association with Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission, conducts a Work Readiness Programme across the higher educational institutions in Wayanad. It is a 15 hour soft skill development training programme for final year students that enhances the skills essential to tackle interviews, resume building and communication skills.

2.      Self Defense Training

ASAP Community Skill Park Mananthavady in association with Japan Karate Academy, Dwaraka, provides a 30hr self-defense training session for students. A batch at Western Ghats Institution for Social Excellence, Korome is ongoing.
