The Food Processing Industry in India accounts for 32% of the country’s total food market, one of the largest industries in India and is ranked fifth in terms of production, consumption, export and expected growth. A strong crop value chain with adequate funding and technology applications will boost the food processing sector via the MSME sector which in turn will boost employment as well as entrepreneurship opportunities in the sector.
