Across the globe, EVs are gaining widespread acceptance among the public, with the Governments giving an aggressive push for sustainable means of transport. The Government of India has propelled the adoption of EVs through its policies and programmes. The National Electric Mobility Mission plan aims at 6-7 million sales of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles every year post-2021.
